The Minister of State for External Affairs Mr. Shashi Tharoor says media has incorrectly reported his comments on foreign policy. He said in New Delhi today that he has been misquoted and his distorted. Media reports said that Mr. Tharoor has criticised the foreign policy approach of father of nation Mahatama Ghandhi and the then Prime Minister Pt. Jawahir Lal Nehru. The BJP today supported the reported remarks by the Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr Shashi Tharoor on the foreign policy followed by Pandit Nehru. Party Spokesman, Mr Rajiv Pratap Rudy sought an explanation from the government on the issue. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Mr Rudy criticised Mr Tharoor for attacking media.
