Sri Lanka Navy Chief TSG Samarasinghe today said that understanding between Colombo and New Delhi on handling of contentious issues arising out of fisher folk from both sides straying in each others waters has eased the tensions to a great extent. According to the Sri Lanka Navy Commander said that there is a mechanism in place to deal on a humanitarian basis all issues related to fisher folk.Commenting on the Bilateral Maritime Relationship between India and Sri Lanka Vice Admiral Tisara Samarasinghe stated that it was brilliant.
