The CBI has arrested preacher Swami Asimanand in connection with Mecca Masjid blast in Hyderabad in May 2007. The accused was arrested from Haridwar where he was staying with fake identity documents.He was produced before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Delhi who granted transit remand for two days. He will be produced before the designated court in Hyderabad for further remand. Two more accused in the case are already in judicial custody.
