<span style="color: #222222;">External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has assured the Ministry of Textiles of all support for Indian silk products in getting access to international market. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She was speaking at a Silk Event – Surging Silk, Accomplishment and Way Forward in New Delhi today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mrs Swaraj assured Textiles Minister Smriti Irani that her Ministry will help in enhancing the business of silk products which are known for their quality and variety of designs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The External Affairs Minister also commended Mrs Irani for distributing 3,000 Buniyaad Tasar Silk Reeling Machines to women from tribal areas. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She said, being a woman, Mrs Irani knows the pain of these women who were earlier dependent on the old practice of thigh reeling.<br />''  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Ms Irani said, her Ministry has set a target of eradicating thigh reeling by March next year by providing Buniyaad Machines. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">She also asked officials to apprise the Ministry about those women who still depend on the practice.During the event, best achievers of silk industry across various segments of sericulture were awarded.</span><br />
