Foreign secretary Nirupama Rao today launched the redesigned website of the External Affairs Ministry. She said the present site gets over three lakh hits, a day. Mrs Rao said the website will cater to comprehensive and speedy information on India's foreign policy issues. Launching another new website of Public Diplomacy Division, she said this site would highlight India's rich soft power around the globe and focus on diverse nature of activities of the missions abroad. She said an inter-ministerial committee has been formed to design a new Integrated External Affairs Ministry portal by middle of next year.
