MCOCA court adjourns bail plea of Malegaon Blast accused

The Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court in Mumbai today adjourned the hearing on the bail plea of nine accused in the 2006 Malegaon Blast case. The accused were presented before Judge YD Shinde who adjourned the hearing to 19 th of next month. The National Investigation Agency told the MCOCA court today that it would file an additional charge sheet against the nine accused and its say on their bail pleas on November, 4 2011.The bail plea of the nine accused claimed that they have been in jail for the last four years and there is no direct evidence of their involvement in the case. The serial blasts had occurred in Malegaon town in Maharashtra on September 08, 2006. At least 37 people were feared dead in the blasts and over 125 were injured.
