The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has issued an advisory for the immersion of idols of lord Ganesh. The advisory issued by the civic body in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. A massive deployment of 23 thousand personnel of the civic body will be made on the 1st of September, the day of immersion.<br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports, with barely a couple of days left for Visarjan of lord Ganesh to take place, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has earmarked 445 spots where immersion of Ganesh can take place. The huge deployment of 23 thousand employees around the city will take care of various aspects for hassle free culmination of the event. <br />''<br />''The civic authorities have asked all those participating in the immersion procession to follow COVID-19 protocols by wearing face masks, maintain social distancing and to use sanitizers. Besides, it has appealed to the people who reside in containment zones or sealed buildings to immerse the idols of Ganesh at their home itself in a large utensil. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The civic body has also created idol collection centres where the idols will be collected and immersed by civic teams. Devotees have also been urged to make use of mobile spots on wheels to immerse the idols. </span><br />
