The Delhi State Election Commission has announced the elections date to the newly created three Municipal Corporations of Delhi, MCD). The election to the all 272 wards of MCD will be held on 15th of April and votes polled will be taken up for counting on 17th of April.Briefing reporters in New Delhi, State Chief Electoral officer, Rakesh Mehta said that the Model Code of Conduct will come into effect from 5th of this month. He said that filing of nominations for all 272 wards will begin on 19th of March , while the last date for filing of nominations is 26th of March.
