The Delhi High Court today denied relief to two BJP candidates whose nominations for the upcoming MCD polls were rejected by the state election commission. <br/><br/>A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Anu Malhotra dismissed BJP candidate Ravinder Negi's appeal against a single judge's order upholding rejection of his nomination. Negi wanted to contest from ward 10E of Vinod Nagar in east Delhi and his nomination was rejected due to lack of signature on his form declaring his age and gender. <br/> <br/>Another bench of Justice V K Rao denied any interim relief to Pinki Kumari, who wanted to contest from ward 67 S of Lado Sarai area in south Delhi, a seat reserved for Scheduled Castes.<br/><br/>Her nomination was rejected on the ground that her caste does not fall in the list of Scheduled Castes given in the Constitution. However, Pinki had claimed she was issued a SC certificate by the Delhi government in 2009.
