BSP Chief Mayawati has termed the recent remarks by Union Minister Gen V K Singh on Dalits as an insult to the entire community. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, she said the government should have sacked the Minister but it did not do so. <br/><br/> Ms. Mayawati also objected to government's stand on the issue in the House saying none of the senior Ministers present in the Rajya Sabha condemned the comments. In October this year, Gen. V K Singh had reportedly made controversial remarks following the killing of two Dalit children in Haryana.
