Talking to media persons in Lucknow today, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP chief Mayavati criticised the Modi government at the centre for its alleged doublespeak about making the parliament free of criminals.
She said that contrary to his claim, more than 30 per cent of ministers of the Modi government are tainted.
Our correspondent reports that Mayawati not only targeted the state government for its alleged failure on every front ranging from law and order to power supply but she also made a direct hit on the four day – old Narendra Modi government at the centre. Mayawati said that an unnecessary issue is being created by making unwanted statements on article 370. Mayawati also levelled charges of perjury against Union HRD minister Smriti Irani, who, according to her , provided false details about her academic qualification while filing the nomination in the recent Lok Sabha election.
