In Uttar Pradesh the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party suspended Ashok Kumar Dohre from party who has been sacked from Mayawati cabinet. The Chief Minister had dismissed him on Wednesday for allegedly behaving against the dignity of a cabinet minister and pressurising officers. He was land development and water resource minister in her cabinet. The Governor has discharged Mr. Dohre from his post on the recommendation of the Chief Minister Mayawati.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that BSP leadership was not happy with sacked minister Ashok Dohre after recently held Panchayat Elections as party supported candidate had lost election for Chairman of Zila Panchayat against Samajwadi Party in his home district Aurriya. Dohre represents Ajitmal constituency of the district. It was said BSP had supported the said nominee for Zila Panchayat election on the recommendations of Dohre. He has already been denied party ticket for forth coming assembly elections and it was round the corner that he may join Samajwadi Party any time after declaration of party nominees for assembly elections. In last Lok Sabha elections it was also alleged that he had not supported the BSP nominee. Two days earlier the BSP had expelled Disha Chaimber from party on the allegations of her involvement in anti party activities. Disha is daughter of a senior bureaucrat of the state and was Vice Chairman of a state owned corporation. She had joined the BSP resigning Congress. BSP had deputed her at Raebarely district to strengthen the organization.
