<br/>In Uttar Pradesh newly elected 13 members of state Legislative Council including Chief Minister Mayawati took oath today. Chairman of the Council Ganesh Shankar Pandey administered the oath. Several state government ministers were present at oath ceremony.<br/><br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that two members of Samajwadi Party including Ram Sunder Nishad and Balram Yadav were not present in the oath taking ceremony. Other members who took oath are Jashwant Singh from Samajwadi Party, Naseeb Pathan of Congress and Hridayanarayan Dixit from BJP and BSP Members including Ram Kumar Kureel, Bhal Chandra Nishad, Virendra Chauhan, Rishipal Gautam, Moh. Athar Khan, Satish Chandra Jatav and Subhodh Parashar. <br/><br/>Legislative Council biennial election for 13 seats were held last month and all candiadtes were declared elected unopposed.<br/>
