BSP Chief Mayawati accused both BJP and Congress for accumulation of black money in the foreign banks. Participating in the discussion in the Rajya Sabha on Black Money issue, she said it takes long time to siphon the huge amount of black money in the foreign banks from the country.

Criticizing former UPA Government for showing reluctance to take initiatives to bring back black money, Ms. Mayawati said the BJP took the political dividend on the issue and defeated the Congress in last Lok Sabha polls. She also warned BJP to take necessary steps on the issue otherwise it will be boomeranged to the party.

She said only formation of SIT is not enough to address the issue. She said a concrete strategy should be evolved quickly otherwise the account holders may withdraw the money and Government will find only empty accounts.
