Mauritius will waive 40 per cent shooting tax for Indian film-makers for shooting on the island nation. The decision was taken by Mauritius Prime Minister Anerood Jugnauth, who is on a visit to Mumbai. He met with Maharashtra Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar. <br/><br/>Mr Mungantiwar said, a number of issues were discussed in the meeting, including tourism, logistics, education, sugarcane industry and construction. 60 industrialists and 20 Bollywood personalities were among those who were present in the meeting. During the meeting, the state government also discussed how it could adopt the Mauritius model of tourism to beautify the beaches in Maharashtra.
