In Uttar Pradesh, lakhs of pilgrims took holy dip at Sangam and other Ghats of Ganga in Allahabad and Varanasi and Saryu river in Ayodhya on the occasion of Mauni Amavasy on Wednesday. According to Magh Mela administration in Allahabad, devotees arrived at various Ghats till late in the evening.
