In Uttar Pradesh, the birth celebration of Lord Sri Krishna Janmashtami is being observed in Mathura and Vrindavan with utmost joy and fervour. All the famous temples including Banke Bihari temple, Prem Temple, Iskcon temple and Sri Krishna Janmbhumi temple have been decorated with beautiful and very colorful lighting where devotees have kept thronging to have a glimpse of Lord.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, the main celebration of Janmashtami is taking place at Sri Krishna Janm Bhumi where lakhs of devotees have paid their obeisance since morning. Whereas lakhs of Krishn Bhakts including thousands of foreign devotees are making a beeline in front of all the famous Krishna temples in Mathura and Vrindavan. As the moment of birth of Kanhaiyya is nearing, the strength of devotees keeps growing. Several cultural events are being organised in Brajmandal to showcase various attractive forms of child form of Lord Krishna. The administration has made very tight security arrangement in Mathura and Vrindavan with deployment of over 3000 of security men.
