In Uttar Pradesh, one of the main accused of Mathura violence Chandan Bose and his wife were arrested from Katholia village under Parshurampur police station area in Basti district today in a police raid in the village.<br/><br/>Chandan Bose was considered close aid of deceased sect leader Rambriksha Yadav. In the police operation, 29 people including two police officers lost their lives.<br/><br/>The police superintendent of Basti Kripashanakr Singh told AIR that the accused Chandan and his wife were hiding in the village and they were arrested after mid night raid by the district police. He said later, Mathura police has also joined the investigation and initial questioning is on with them. <br/><br/>He said the sect leader's associate will soon be produced before the judicial magistrate for further proceedings.
