The Allahabad High court has asked the Uttar Pradesh government that why the investigation of Mathura's Jawahar Bagh incident should not be handed over to CBI. Hearing two PILs simultaneously yesterday, the High Court bench comprising Justice Vikram Nath and Justice R.N. Kakkar asked the state Advocate General that why not this case should be handed over to CBI for further investigation. Court has fixed 14th July for the next date of hearing.<br/><br/>However the state government has already formed a judicial Commission under retired justice Imtiaz Murtza. During hearing One of the petitioner claimed that since Judicial commission has no power take action therefore Special Investigation team (SIT) inquiry is necessary.<br/><br/>While another petitioner pleaded court for CBI Inquiry. In the Jawarharbagh Incident 27 people including two police officers were killed during police action against illegal encroachments by a sect leader Rambriksha and their followers.
