India will put forth its case for the membership of the elite Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) during its outreach meeting with the NSG Troika .
Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai will be heading the Indian delegation in the meeting which is going to be held in Vienna today. Ministry of External Affairs said, this is part of on-going and regular outreach meetings between India and the NSG.
Mathai is expected to update the 46-Member grouping on the steps taken by India on harmonising the NSG control list with the country's export control systems.
He will also reiterate country's commitment to non- proliferation and attempts to meet international standards.
