In Mizoram, the self-styled deputy commander-in-chief of the banned outfit National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) George Bodo has been arrested by security forces at Aizwal . According to reports reaching Guwahati, the Assam Rifles jawans, on receiving some intelligence inputs arrested the anti-talk faction NDFB militant leader from a hotel . He was the main suspect behind the 30th October, 2008 serial bomb explosions in Guwahati and other parts of Assam in which more than a hundred people lost their lives besides wounding around four hundred people. The body guard of the militant leader B. Samizing alias Dingu has also been arrested. Based on the confession made by the militant leader during interrogation, 10 other dreaded cadres of the outfit were also arrested from different parts of the North-East.
