Masterclass session emerges as most popular even at IFFI

Masterclass session has emerged as one of the most sought after event at the International Film Festival of India, IFFI. <br/><br/>The reason for its growing popularity every year being those who take these classes. <br/><br/>Masterclass is a series of interactive sessions conducted by eminent professionals who have created an impact in the Film Industry. <br/><br/>It provides an opportunity to the students of cinema to learn from the best in their fields. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, apart from watching quality movies, IFFI 2017 offers delegates an opportunity to meet, greet and learn the tricks of the trade from the people who have mastered the art of making films. <br/><br/>This year's Masterclass began with Subhash Ghai, one of the greatest showman of Hindi cinema. In a heart-to-heart conversation, Subhash Ghai shared his struggle as a filmmaker. <br/><br/>The second Masterclass by Academy Award and BAFTA winning sound recordist, Craig Mann also witnessed long serpentine queues yesterday. Today's Masterclass will be conducted by the Dagal team. <br/><br/>They include its director Nitesh Tiwari, screenwriter Piyush Gupta and writer Nikhil Mehrotra. <br/><br/>Others conducting Masterclasses at IFFI this year include veteran filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, Canadian filmmaker Atom Egoyan, Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, and Anand Gandhi of Ship of Theseus fame. <br/><br/>
