The seven constituencies in Bihar that would go to polls tomorrow are Madhepura, Madhubani, Jhanjharpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Begusarai and Khagaria.
According to state Chief Secretary Ashok Kumar Sinha besides deployment of security personnel, river patrolling would be conducted by 34 motorised boats to ensure free and fair polling.
He said as a preventive measures, 52 thousand persons have been made to sign a bond for not creating any disturbance. Over seven thousand 9 hundred persons have been taken into preventive custody.
Besides, seven thousand three hundred licensed firearms have been deposited at police stations.
Over 1.13 crore voters including 53 lakh women are eligible to exercise their franchise at 10,521 polling booths. They include about 4 lakh first time voters.
