Massive relief, rescue operations on in flood ravaged Odisha

In Odisha, major rivers are flowing down their danger marks. However due to low pressure some places in state is receiving scanty rainfall as a result water levels in few at the down stream of Baitarani in Jajpur and Bhadrak, and Rsikulaya in Ganjam district are flowing above their danger marks.So far, 32 people have died and 12 are missing in flood and thousands have been inundated.Over nineteen districts of the thirty districts in state have suffered huge loss due to flood affecting over 2 lakh 55 thousand people.Meanwhile, the state government on Friday asked district collectors of the affected areas to submit their final report on real loss of lives and properties before 25th of this month to enable the state government providing ex-gratia to the affected.
