The West Bengal Government has launched massive manhunt to rescue abducted intelligence branch Officer Partho Biswas and School teacher Soumyajit Basu. State Home Secretary G.D. Gautam told news persons in Kolkata yesterday that the Government has come to know from primary investigation that they have been abducted by Maoists. Mr.Gautam said, both the abducted persons are still alive and Maoists have kept them in Jharkhand. They were abducted from Ayodhya hills in Purulia District a fortnight ago.
