In Sikkim, a massive search operation is on in the snow clad hills of North Sikkim district to find out the Army helicopter which went missing yesterday morning. The search operations which had to be abandoned due to an inclement weather in the evening have been resumed. The chopper with two Leutinent Colonels-cum-Pilots and two Naiks on board had snapped its communication links about an hour after taking off from Sevoke Army base near Siliguri in West Bengal. The Army sources at Lachung in the North Sikkim district told that the Advance Light Helicopter(ALH),'Dhruv' of Army Aviation Corps ,coming from Sevoke, had taken off from the Lachung ,after a brief halt, for Yume Samdong near and then lost contact due to a bad weather.
