In Rajasthan, efforts are still on to bring the major fire under control which broke in a depot of Indian Oil Corporation in Sitapura Industrial Area in Jaipur on Thursday evening. Four persons were killed and 140 people injured in the incident. 35 of them are still undergoing treatment in the hospital and rest of them has been discharged. A loss of more than 500 crore rupees is estimated in the incident. 22 fire tenders 300 army personnel and 2 teams of oil fire experts are engaged in bringing the fire under control. 7 rehabilitation centers have been opened where the people evacuated from the nearby villages are taking shelter. The schools in the nearby villages will remain closed on Friday. The Union Minister for Petroleum Mr. Murli Deora visited the incident sight on Friday morning and took stock of the rescue operation. He also went to SMS hospital and met the injured. Mr. Deora has assured the Rajasthan government of all possible help for the rescue operation. <br/>The State government has announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees to next of kin of those died in the incident, one lakh rupees to seriously injure and 50,000 rupees to the injured. The Governor Mr. S.K.Singh and the Chief Minsiter Mr.Ashok Gehlot visited the hospital on Thursday night and reviewed the measures being taken for the treatment of the injured. <br/>Meanwhile, the North-Western Railway has either cancelled or diverted 20 trains from Jaipur as the Railway track is passing near the incident sight.<br/>
