<span style="font-size: 13.3333px; color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Puducherry the Mass Vaccination drive launched by the Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan has gained momentum with a total number of 17,013 persons inoculated in the last 48 hours.</span><br style="font-size: 13.3333px;" />''<span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Puducherry witnessed a sudden spike of Covid 19 Positive cases in the last few days. The Lieutenant Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan held a series of review meetings and planned for the special vaccination drive through the UT.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A four day &quot;Covid Vaccination Tiruvizha&quot; has been launched on April 11 th. Arrangements have been made in 100 places including all Government hospitals, PHCs and Selected Government Schools to inoculate the people above 45 years.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Under this drive, in just 48 hours 14,239 persons in Puducherry, 2,304 persons in Karaikal , 259 persons in Yanam and 211 persons in Mahe were administered Covid Vaccination. Till April 14 th, tomorrow the vaccination Tiruvizha will be held.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In total 96, 388 persons administered Vaccines, including 28,723 Health Care Workers, 16,512 Front Line Workers and 51,153 General Public. So far no adverse complaints from those took the vaccination.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Administration of corona Vaccines has been increased in all the hospitals, besides rapid and RTPCR test in view of the emerging situation.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile the Health department statistics indicated that at present a total number of 2,594 Persons are being treated for the infection, including 547 in hospitals and 2047 persons in home quarantine.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The recovery rate stands at 92.62 % and the fatality rate at 1.56 %.&nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
