Even as the Supreme Court is to consider the Mullaperiyar dam safety issue tomorrow, in Kerala mass agitation demanding immediate action to reduce water level of the dam to 120 feet on a war footing is growing. Environmental activist Medha Patkar is reaching Mullaperiyar dam site today. The water level of the dam has slightly come down from the permissible level of 136 feet.
