On the occasion of first ever International Yoga day on June 21, Indian Olympic medallist boxer MC Mary Kom will be the chief guest for the event, which is being organised by Indian Consulate in Dubai. Five-time World Boxing Champion Mary Kom will join more than 15,000 United Arab Emirates participants and more than 100 nationalities during this event, to be held at Al Wasl Football Club, Dubai. The mega event will see participation from 72 schools, 88 cultural organisations, 50 big corporate companies and different embassies/consulates. Mary Kom, who will depart for Dubai on June 20, said, that she was really excited to be part of the yoga gathering in Dubai on the occasion of International Yoga Day. The London Olympic bronze medallist said that she would like to thank Indian Consulate in Dubai for giving her this opportunity. The sessions will be led by Indian yoga guru A G Mohan, who is also an author and co-founder of Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda in India.
