Five-time world champion M C Mary Kom remained on course for a fifth gold medal in 48-kilogram category at the Asian Boxing Championships in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam today. She made it to the final with her compatriot Sonia Lather who entered the final in the 57-kilogram category. Mary Kom defeated Japan's Tsubasa Komura 5-nil in the semi-final. The final will be played tomorrow when Mary Kom takes on North Korea's Kim Hyang Mi. Five other Indians settled for bronze medals at the continental showpiece today after losing their respective semi-final bouts in different weight categories. They are former world champion L Sarita Devi, Priyanka Chaudhary, Lovlina Borgohain, Seema Punia and Shiksha.
