Auto major, Maruti Suzuki India is recalling 75,419 units of its premium hatchback, Baleno to fix a faulty airbag component and fuel filter. It is also calling back 1,961 units of its compact sedan, DZires with auto gear shift technology to replace the fuel filter. The vehicles to be recalled were manufactured between August 2015 and May 2016.Since auto industry body, SIAM started voluntary vehicle recalls for safety-related issues in July 2012, over 18 lakh vehicles have been recalled by various automobile manufacturers in the country.
