The Gurgaon Police today said 88 workers have been arrested in relation to the violent incident at Maruti Suzuki India's Manesar plant, where one person was killed last evening. DCP Maheshwar Dayal told reporters outside the plant in Gurgoan that a special investigation team (SIT) has been formed to probe the incident after registering the FIR.The palnt has been closed.In order to maintain law and order at the plant, 1,200 policemen have been deployed in and around the area, he added.
