New Zealand today sailed into the semi-finals of the 11th Cricket World Cup with a stunning 143-run victory over the West Indies in the fourth and last quarter-final at Wellington. They will now play South Africa in the first semi-final on Tuesday. Chasing a mammoth target of 394, the Windies were bundled out for 250 in 30.3 overs.Paceman Trent Boult bagged the maximum of 4 wickets. Earlier, Kiwi opener Martin Guptill scored this World Cup's second double hundred, first was Chris Gayle's 215 earlier in the tournament, to anchor New Zealand to post 393. He made an unbeaten 237, which is the highest individual World Cup score, and the second highest in ODIs, the first being Rohit Sharma's 264.The second semi final between defending champions India and Australia will be played on Thursday at Sydney.
