In Sri Lanka, the marking of postal ballot papers for the sixth Presidential elections which is scheduled for 26th of January are to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the country.Public servants including those in the police and the military are qualified to cast their ballots.According to officials, the Election Department has received 458,154 postal voting applications but only 401,118 have been accepted.All measures are in place to monitor postal voting, according to the Elections Department in Sri Lanka.
