Continuing its winning streak for the fourth straight day, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange jumped 100 points, or 0.5 per cent, to 18,767 in opening trade, today, amid renewed confidence in the European market's recovery following Portugal's successful debt bond auction. After paring some of its early gains, the Sensex still stood 79 points, or 0.4 percent in the green, at 18,746, a short while ago. Other Asian markets in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea were up by between 0.1 percent and 0.8 percent, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had added 0.5 per cent, overnight.
