Markets bounce back; Sensex surges 51 pts at noon

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex today lost nearly 28 points to19,833 in the opening trade. However, later it recovered its initial losses and was trading at 19912, up by over 51 points a short while ago. Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index was down 0.07 per cent, while Japanese Nikkei index fell by 1.25 per cent in the morning trade. The US Dow Jones Industrial average ended 0.72 per cent down in yesterday's trade.
