In Andaman and Nicobar islands, a two day national seminar on Emerging Maritime challenges in Resurgent India began at Port Blair on Monday. Inaugurating the seminar , the Commander in Chief of Andaman and Nicobar Command, Lt Gen N C Marwah highlighted the importance of Unified command and Indian navy in the rapidly changing global scenario. Eminent speakers including former Ambassador of China, Salman Haider addressed the seminar. The strategic importance of India and its relations with its neighbouring countries were discussed in the seminar on Monday.
