Margaret Alva has been sworn in as the Governor of Rajasthan. Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, Arun Mishra, administered the oath of office to Alva at a function at Raj Bhavan in Jaipur. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and cabinet ministers were present on the occasion.Margaret Alva is the 19th Governor of Rajasthan. She is the third woman Governor of the state after Mrs.Pratibha Devisingh Patil and Prabha Rao, who had served earlier.
