Mild tension prevailed in Hyderabad as the Telangana March called by political joint Action Committee to demonstrate people demand for separate state of Telangana is in progress. A number of incidents of stone pelting by agitators and police retaliating tear gas shell have reported since morning. Police burst of tear gas shells to disperse protesters who tried to remove barricades at several places including state secretariat. Police have arrested Congress MPs from Telangana region who held demonstration in front of Chief Minister's office. Several parties and organisations of students and employees have extended support to the march.
