Australian marathon swimmer Chloe McCardel has set a world record swimming non-stop for 16 hours in a spa in Melbourne. It is a special moment for McCardel, who was forced to abandon a swim from Cuba to Florida last year when jellyfish stings left her in excruciating pain. After completing the swim Mc Cardel said she was not tired yet.Her husband was there to support her, and a sports official from Triathlon Australia was spa-side to make sure she kept to the rules, including a ban on intentionally touching the sides or the bottom.
