The government says, the mapping of urban slums through out the country will be completed in the next two years. Interacting with mediapersons in New Delhi on Wednesday, on the progress of Rajiv Awas Yojna, the Union Minister of Housing and Poverty Alleviation, Kumari Selja said that slum dwellers will be provided property rights under this scheme in a view to make the city slum free.<br/><br/>She said that the draft guidelines of the scheme has been prepared and circulated to the states for comments. She said that when the mapping will be completed further development work will be done. Highlighting the progress of Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rojgar Yojna, Ms Selja said that around 91,000 urban poor imparted skill training and nearly 14,000 urban poor women assisted for setting up of group enterprises.<br/><br/>She said that under the Integrated low Cost Sanitation Scheme, the country will become dry latrine free by the end of 2010. Mrs Selja also said that the government has drafted a draft model Real Estate Act with a view to protect consumer interest on the one hand and to facilitate smooth and speedy urban construction. She said that the comment and suggestion were also invited in this regard and the ministry is examining the comments which were received.<br/>
