In Chhattisgarh, one BSF jawan was injured in an IED blast in Maoist affected Antagadh area of Kanker district. The incident occurred this morning when a polling party was returning to the district headquarters. BSF jawans were giving security cover to this polling party. The condition of the injured jawan is critical.

Maoists triggered another blast on Manjhipara bridge near Kerlapal village in Sukma district this morning, targeting a Border Security Force team. Two BSF jawans were injured in this incident.
