Maoists release abducted Jharkhand's BDO

The Maoists have finally released the abducted Jharkhand's Block Development Officer, Prashant Kumar Layak today. He was handed over to the police team near Hariyan village in Ghatshila block of East Singhbhum district. <br/><br/>Talking to our Correspondent, the Inspector General of Police, Rezi Dung Dung, who was leading the whole operation to get the abducted BDO released from the clutches of the Maoists, has confirmed the release of the BDO. He also stated that a police team was sent to pick up the abducted BDO.<br/><br/>Dhalbhumgarh BDO Prashant Kumar Layak was abducted by the Maoists on 13th of this month (Saturday) from his Block Office at Dhalbhumgarh in East Singhbhum District in broad day light.<br/><br/>Maoists had put three conditions to set free the BDO including release of 14 of their cadres, who are lodged in Dhanbhumgarh jail of the district.
