Maoists killed two people in Palamau district of Jharkhand. The victims worked as contractors for a private company- Abhijit Group. Both were abducted on March 17 from Latehar district where the Abhijit Group is setting up a power plant at Chandawa in Latehar. The bodies of Jitendra Singh and Mukesh Singh were found from a jungle. According to the police sources, huge ransoms were reportedly demanded by the Maoists.
