Maoists kill three of seven abducted Chhattisgarh policemen

In Chhattisgarh, the Maoists have killed three of the seven policemen who were abducted by the ultras in the Bijapur district last Sunday. The bodies had been recovered by the police near Dhepla jungle in the district today. The deceased include two Constable and a SPO. The fate of the four other policemen are still unknown. The bodies of the slain jawans had been sent to their respective home states.In another shoot out between the police and the Naxalites in the Bijapur district this afternoon, one SPO has been killed and two policemen injured. Three villagers have also sustained injuries in this incident. The encounter took place between the Awapalli and Usur police station area. Police have however not yet confirmed the incident.
