The body of havaldar of Bihar Military Police (BMP) Lukus Tete was recovered in forest areas of Lakhisarai district of Bihar on Friday morning. Confirming this the Addition Director General of Police P. K. Thakur said that the body of the slain Tete was found under Chanan police station of the district. Earlier there was report of Killing of sub-inspector Abhay Kumar Yadav. A leaflet of maoist was found along with the body of Lukus Tete in which it is written that if their demand is not meet then three other captive security men will be killed . As per reports, besides Sub-Inspector Rupesh Kumar Sinha and Abhay Kumar yadav, jawan of Bihar Military Police Ehatsaam Khan are under the custody of Maoists. Naxals are demanding release of their 8 commorades in exchange of three captive securitymen. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is holding an emergency meeting with top security officials at his official residence. He categorically stated that the state government is ready to talk with Maoists for safe release of the security men who have been taken hostage. He offered the talk soon after the rebels claimed to have killed one of the captive policemen. Chief Minister said those who want to come to the negotiating table are welcome. There will be no police action against them. They will be given safe passage. Mr. Nitish Kumar said that the name of naxals who will participate in the talk should be declared by them. The agenda of talk proposed by naxals should also be decided. Mr. Kumar criticized for bargaining by naxals after taking policemen under their captivity. Chief Minister said that naxals should keep human rights in their mind and keep the hostage safely as the state government is taking all care of the Maoists who are in the jails. The Bihar Chief Minister has also convened an all-party meeting in Patna on Saturday to discuss the crisis .Mr.Kumar is also trying to personally contact the leaders of opposition parties to take them into confidence on the matter. Meanwhile, security forces have intensified operations to rescue the remaining three kidnapped policemen by the Maoists. Inspector General(Operations),K S Dwivedi, overseeing the anti-Naxal operations said,combined force of Cobra Battalion of CRPF, BMP, STF and SAP of Bihar police are carrying out anti-Maoists operations. He said, BSF helicopters carrying Cobra battalion personnel hovered over the hills in hunt for the Naxalites for ensuring safe release of the hostages.Intense search operations continued in the hilly and forest areas in Dharhara, Kajra and several other places in Munger, Jamui and Lakhisarai districts.
