In Bihar, Maoists kidnapped two tribals in Rohtash district of the state. The incident occurred at Pipradih village under Nauhatta police station area. AIR Patna correspondent reports that an intensive combing operation is continuing to free the abducted tribals from the clutches of Maoists. Tribals from different villages in Rohtash and Kaimur districts have fled away from their native places after this incident. They are living in makeshift camps set up by the administration and police at Chenari and Lohra. Some of them are living in houses of their relatives. The exodus of tribals started after the kidnapping of two villagers that has given rise to the fear of Maoists attack on their villages also. The Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj tod AIR that Police and the paramilitary have launched an operation to convince the tribals to return to their villages.
