In a message send to the media offices, the spokesperson of Jamui and Banka zones had asked the police to vacate the Sheetal Korasi hill range immediately if they wished the Maoists to free four police personnel that had been captured during encounter.Intensive combing operation is on to locate missing bodies of security personnel in the forest of Sheetal Korasi in Lakhisarai district in Bihar.AIR Patna correspondent reports that four police personnel including two sub-inspectors were still missing after fierce gun battle between Maoists and securitymen on Sunday. Seven dead bodies have been recovered so far. Maoists put condition for release of cops.Maoists claimed that their comrades also took possession of 33 weapons that the raiding party had with. Maoists said that the attack was in retaliation to the killing of eight of their colleagues in Jamui district a few days before.Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ordered an inquiry into the lapses into the joint operation against Maoists in forest area under Kajra police station of Lakhisarai district. Mr Kumar said every martyr will get 10 lakh as compensation along with 13 lakh of insurance money.Their families will be provided monthly salary till the time the jawans would have worked had they lived. Retirement benefits will also be given.
