Maoists have gunned down four people suspecting them to be police informers at Pandurtola village under Mukundpur Police Outpost of Rayagada district in Orissa. According to Rayagada Superitendent of Police, Mr Ashis Kumar Singh, about 40 to 50 Maoists entered Pandurtola late last night and dragged the victims from their home and shot at them. While three died on the spot, two others were seriously injured. One of the injured died later at Rayagada hospital today. The Maoists who were speaking in Hindi and Telugu fled towards Andhra Pradesh border after the attack. The Orissa Police in association with the Andhra Pradesh Police has started a massive combing operation to nab the Maoists.
